Who We're Looking For:

The Application Security Expert plays a critical role in ensuring the cybersecurity of applications by implementing and overseeing measures that protect against application-level threats. The position focuses on vulnerability management, secure development practices, and automation of DevSecOps security controls to ensure applications remain secure throughout their lifecycle.

✅ Professional Experience & Main Tasks

• Analyze and validate application vulnerabilities, ensuring accurate classification and effective remediation
• Oversee and optimize the use of security scanning tools (SAST and SCA), ensuring proper integration into the development lifecycle
• Challenge and support development teams in remediation efforts and promote secure coding best practices
• Train and guide developers in using security tools and adopting secure development standards
• Develop automation and scripting solutions to enhance DevSecOps security controls and efficiency

✅Skills & Experience

• Mastery of application security principles
• Expert-level knowledge of secure coding practices
• Strong expertise in SAST and SCA methodologies and tools
• Advanced scripting and automation skills, particularly in Python
• Ability to work closely with development teams to embed security into software delivery processes
