As a UI/UX Designer, you will:
- Lead UI and UX design for AI-enabled applications using Figma, from early concepts through to production-ready designs.
- Work closely with AI Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Tech Leads to ensure designs support product goals and technical feasibility.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
- Contribute to and evolve design systems that support consistency and scalability across multiple AI initiatives.
- Support rapid iteration and experimentation while maintaining high standards of usability and visual quality.
- Deliver polished, user-friendly designs that meet consumer-grade expectations in an enterprise context.
- Translate complex AI-driven functionality into clear, intuitive user experiences.
- Partner effectively with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Drive user research efforts and turn insights into actionable design improvements.
- Advocate for accessibility, usability, and inclusive design across all solutions.
- Design and iterate on UI components, user flows, and interaction patterns in Figma.
- Plan and conduct user interviews, usability testing, and design validation sessions.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative feedback to continuously improve user experience.
- Develop, maintain, and contribute to a scalable design system.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to ensure design feasibility and high-quality implementation.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and follow inclusive design best practices.
- Support multiple AI delivery pods by prioritising design effort based on delivery needs and impact.
- 4+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and design system management.
- Experience conducting user research and incorporating feedback into iterative design improvements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in hybrid or distributed teams, using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and delivery tools like Azure DevOps (or similar).
- Experience designing AI-enabled or complex technical products.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) to support ideation and workflows.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Experience working in enterprise or platform-style product environments.
