We are looking for a senior backend developer for a fintech company. In this role, you will take a leading role in the daily development work and contribute technical direction to the team. The work is practical and includes the design and development of scalable backend solutions with Java and Spring Boot. You are also expected to support and guide other developers through, for example, pair programming, code reviews and technical discussions. A key responsibility is to ensure that the solutions are of high quality, are testable and follow modern architectural principles.

Required qualifications

• Good experience with SQL and database modeling with, for example, JPA and Hibernate.
• Very deep knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem, or equivalent enterprise frameworks such as Jakarta EE or Quarkus, where Spring is prioritized.
• At least five years of experience in systems development with a primary focus on backend development in Java.
• Experience in building microservices and working with distributed systems.
