Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with approximately 5 years of professional experience to support business and digital transformation initiatives across the organization. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and data-driven solutions.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements using interviews, workshops, and process reviews.

  • Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

  • Analyse and model business processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Architects to ensure solutions meet business objectives.

  • Support data analysis and reporting activities to inform decision-making.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews).

  • Validate solutions through UAT support and stakeholder sign-off.

  • Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical implementation, and organizational goals.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BA standards, templates, and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, Economics, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.

  • Strong experience in requirements engineering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.

  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in complex environments.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, or similar.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Swedish language skills are a strong advantage.

Preferred / Nice to Have
  • Experience in financial services, telecom, retail, public sector, or technology consulting.

  • Exposure to data analytics, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), or SQL.

  • Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum certification.

  • Experience working in Swedish or Nordic enterprise environments.
