Join Stillfront as a Principle SDK Platform Engineer - Unity/C# and help shape the future of growth infrastructure across our global gaming organization! In this role, you will be the primary technical owner of the SFDK (Stillfront Development Kit), a standardized platform designed to consolidate and connect essential growth and data services for our studios. You will be part of our distributed Data Platform team, reporting to the VP of Data Platform. The role involves working closely with game studios and central hubs including Marketing, Ad Monetization, and Product to provide "one-click" access to best-in-class services.

You’ll collaborate directly with our Data and DevOps teams to bridge the gap between client-side SDKs and server-to-server API integrations, ensuring high-quality, reliable data flows across the group. Your work will empower our studios to focus on product excellence while leveraging a "bleeding edge" suite of liveops tools that drive meaningful business impact and growth opportunities.

YOUR MISSION

• Maintain and govern the SDK (SFDK), including versioning, dependency management, and release automation.
• Experience in building and maintaining robust build systems and CI/CD pipelines for Unity projects.
• Experience with game deployment to mobile (iOS, Android) and desktop (Windows, macOS) platforms.
• Design and implement automated integration tests to ensure stability and compatibility with all third-party services.
• Integrate and standardize third-party modules for Product, Marketing, and Ad Monetization tools like Mixpanel, Clevertap, and Appsflyer.
• Contribute to the core data tracking module to ensure consistency, freshness, and high-fidelity data across the entire Stillfront portfolio.
• Collaborate extensively with Data and DevOps teams to enable and optimize server-to-server API-based integrations for a holistic growth stack.
• Partner with game teams on pilot integrations with 'Playground' titles, generating case studies that reduce friction for future studio adoption.
• Monitor and optimize SDK performance, specifically targeting high reliability, low defect density, and scalable throughput.
• Partner with the Hub Platform leads to translate operational growth requirements from Marketing, Ad Mon, and Product into technical deliverables.
• Provide expert integration support and technical documentation to empower game teams to achieve growth excellence independently.

YOUR PROFILE

• Extensive experience in professional Unity engineering, with a proven track record of shipping stable SDKs or high-performance mobile games.
• Strong commitment to technical excellence, emphasizing clean, maintainable, and robust architectural standards while maintaining a pragmatic, future-proof technical vision.
• Understanding of the mobile growth stack, including attribution, ad mediation, and product analytics integration.
• Self-motivated leader capable of managing daily technical development and long-term infrastructure maintenance.
• Excellent communicator who can serve as a strategic champion for platform adoption across diverse international game studios.
• Experience working closely with Data and DevOps teams to ensure fluid data movement and API-based connectivity across a complex portfolio.
• Expertise in Unity's packaging ecosystem, including the Unity Package Manager (UPM), managing scoped registries, and creating distributable packages.
• Proficiency in establishing Unity Assembly Definitions to enforce modularity, optimize compilation times, and structure the SDK.
• Experience with Custom Editor Scripting and internal tooling development to enhance developer workflow and platform efficiency.
• Ability to validate and test the SDK against multiple Unity Long-Term Support (LTS) versions to ensure broad engine compatibility.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with backfilling historical data and managing complex data migrations between growth services.
• Experience with Unity-based R&D environments or "Sandbox" testing for live production environments.
• Knowledge of global compliance and consent management within the context of data tracking.
• Understanding of how AI/ML models utilize SDK and API data for player journey customization.
