About The Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (Night Shift) to support the stability, security, and availability of OneBullEx's trading infrastructure during overnight operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for real-time system monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure maintenance across our cloud-native production environment. You will work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure uninterrupted exchange services, safeguard user funds, and support nightly deployments or hot fixes.
This position is critical to maintaining platform reliability during global trading hours.

About The Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (Night Shift) to support the stability, security, and availability of OneBullEx's trading infrastructure during overnight operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for real-time system monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure maintenance across our cloud-native production environment. You will work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure uninterrupted exchange services, safeguard user funds, and support nightly deployments or hot fixes.
This position is critical to maintaining platform reliability during global trading hours.
Key Responsibilities
24/7 Monitoring & Incident Response
- Perform overnight system monitoring and on-call coverage for the exchange platform.
- Respond rapidly to alerts, incidents, and system anomalies to ensure high availability and fund security.
- Escalate and coordinate incident resolution with relevant teams when required.
- Operate and maintain Kubernetes (K8s) clusters and Docker container environments.
- Handle cluster scaling, version upgrades, performance tuning, and fault troubleshooting.
- Ensure system resilience under high-load and high-volatility trading conditions.
- Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines based on Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
- Support night-time deployments, hot fixes, and rollback procedures.
- Enforce GitOps best practices for infrastructure and application delivery.
- Configure and manage Cloudflare, WAF, and CDN policies.
- Monitor and mitigate DDoS attacks and abnormal traffic patterns.
- Ensure stable and secure global network connectivity.
- Monitor, maintain, and back up MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and other SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Perform performance tuning, health checks, and emergency recovery when needed.
- Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Alibaba Cloud (Aliyun).
- Optimize cloud resource configuration, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Basic Requirements
- Willingness and ability to work long-term night shifts or rotational schedules.
- Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and ability to perform under pressure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm.
- Experience maintaining large-scale production clusters.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD.
- Solid understanding of GitOps workflows.
- Experience with AWS or Alibaba Cloud, including VPC, ELB/SLB, and S3/OSS.
- Strong database experience with MySQL and MongoDB; familiarity with NoSQL optimization.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language: Shell, Python, or Go.
- Prior DevOps or SRE experience at a crypto exchange (CEX) or fintech company.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
- Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for log analysis.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Proven experience handling traffic spikes, extreme volatility, or DDoS incidents in trading systems.
