As an Associate Software Engineer, you'll join our growing London-based team working on the platforms that power our digital retail experience—including LEGO.com, the LEGO Insiders App, and our order management systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and make a real impact while working with the latest technology and a supportive team.

Core Responsibilities



  • Build and ship features across Shopper Technology impacting our LEGO shoppers, working alongside experienced engineers who'll guide your development
  • Own your tasks Break down features into manageable steps, ask great questions, and learn to solve problems independently (with support when you need it)
  • Deliver quality code Write clean, tested code and actively seek feedback to continuously improve your craft
  • Follow features to production Experience the full software lifecycle—from planning through deployment and monitoring in production
  • Grow your skills Take initiative in learning new technologies and approaches while building production software

Working closely with the whole product team, our Software Engineers play a vital role in securing the quality, security and stability of our digital retail experience. We are working from the offices 3 days per week.

Do you have what it takes?



  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Basic programming knowledge in languages like TypeScript / Node / React, JavaScript, Python, Java or similar
  • Familiarity with fundamental concepts data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
  • Good understanding of how AI can play a role within your day-to-day development
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing as a software engineer
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Passion for building great user experiences



Advanced English both written and verbal would be ideal as we are an internationally gathered team.
