Position: Golang Developer – AI Expert

Type: Contract (Full-time or Part-time)

Compensation: $20–$42/hour

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs using Go
• Implement robust data validation, error handling, and API security practices
• Plan and execute database migrations, schema updates, and performance optimizations
• Test AI-powered coding models in Cursor within real development workflows
• Submit detailed incident reports, bug traces, and screenshots
• Participate in intensive multi-day testing bursts evaluating AI impact on coding
• Collaborate with research teams via Slack and structured feedback loops
• Provide post-testing surveys and insights on model performance and developer experience

Requirements

• Strong years of professional backend development experience with strong Golang expertise
• Proven experience building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Solid understanding of backend security, validation, and error handling
• Hands-on experience with database migrations and performance tuning
• Familiarity with AI coding tools; experience with Cursor is a strong plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear technical reporting
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, confidential, remote environments
