Responsabilités
- Concevoir et implémenter la programmation en général, y compris en ce qui a trait aux solutions de première ligne, intermédiaires et dorsales dans React, Python, et un possible mélange de bases de données, dont SQL, Delta Tables et d’autres
- Concevoir et implémenter des modèles et des algorithmes d’apprentissage automatique qui répondent aux besoins et aux exigences opérationnelles
- Appliquer des techniques d’apprentissage automatique à de grands ensembles de données afin de repérer des tendances, des schémas et des renseignements
- Sélectionner, affiner et évaluer de grands modèles de langage (GML) en utilisant des données propres au domaine pour prendre en charge des fonctions de produit intelligentes
- Travailler en collaboration avec l’équipe de développement et d’exploitation et l’équipe des opérations d’apprentissage automatique à l’aide d’outils comme Docker et Kubernetes et de registres de modèles
- Participer à la recherche et au développement de nouvelles techniques et technologies d’apprentissage automatique
- Créer et gérer une infrastructure de recherche vectorielle pour prendre en charge la recherche sémantique, la récupération de documents et la mémoire liée aux GML
- Travailler en collaboration avec d’autres développeurs, ingénieurs de données et experts en science des données pour concevoir des pipelines de données et des flux de traitement des données
- Encadrer les ingénieurs débutants en apprentissage automatique et offrir un leadership technique au sein de l’équipe
- Se tenir au fait des dernières avancées en apprentissage automatique et en technologies d’IA ainsi que de leurs applications
- Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en informatique, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe
- 6 années d’expérience générale en développement
- Au moins 2 années d’expérience en apprentissage automatique et en développement de logiciels d’IA
- Excellentes compétences en programmation avec Python et expérience de bibliothèques d’apprentissage automatique comme TensorFlow, PyTorch ou Scikit-learn
- Expérience des plateformes infonuagiques comme AWS, GCP ou Azure et de leurs services d’apprentissage automatique

We are looking for a Senior ML Developer to join the team that is building Dayforce AI Assistant that is at the spotlight across our features. The Sr. ML Developer has an opportunity to join a team of strong developers and work on a high visibility and high impact product - you will change the way millions of customers globally interact with our product on a day-to-day basis across 150+ countries. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills and a desire to keep up to date with advances in big data technologies.
Your impact will be evident through your effective participation in the entire lifecycle of our software including design, analysis, prototyping, development, testing and support of our products. You will work closely and collaborate with clients, prospects, implementation partners, and Dayforce personnel to envision and deliver the required functionality.
What You'll Get To Do
- Develop and implement overall programming including frontend, middle tier and backend solutions in React, Python and a potential mix of databases including SQL, Delta Tables and others
- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms that meet business needs and requirements
- Apply machine learning techniques to large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- Select, fine-tune, and evaluate large language models (LLMs) using domain-specific data to support intelligent product features
- Work with DevOps and MLOps teams to containerize, deploy, and monitor ML components using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and model registries
- Participate in research and development of new machine learning techniques and technologies
- Create and manage vector search infrastructure to support semantic search, document retrieval, and memory for LLMs
- Work collaboratively with other developers, data engineers and data scientists to build data pipelines and data processing workflows
- Mentor junior machine learning engineers and provide technical leadership in the team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and AI technologies and their applications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 6 years of overall development experience
- At least 2+ years of experience in machine learning and AI software development
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure and their machine-learning services
- Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing
- Comfortable coding against backend technologies including MSSQL, NoSQL, Delta Tables and related technologies such as GraphQL and Pyspark
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
