We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master to facilitate agile delivery for our modernization program. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to Scrum principles and best practices across all sprints, guiding the development team toward successful project outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate agile delivery for the modernization program, ensuring all sprints align with Scrum principles and best practices
  • Guide and support the development team in effective sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Proactively remove impediments to foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
  • Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and priorities
  • Track progress, manage sprint backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Promote continuous improvement and an agile mindset within the team

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile role
  • Strong understanding of Scrum methodology, agile frameworks, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience in tracking progress and managing sprint backlogs

Nice to have

  • Experience with modernization or large-scale transformation programs
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus

 

This posting includes a base salary range EPAM Canada would reasonably expect to pay the selected candidate. Individual compensation offers within the range are based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, training, the demand for the role, skillset, and overall business and local labour market considerations. Most candidates are hired at a salary within the range disclosed. Salary range: CA$100,000 - CA$130,000.
