About Our Client
Our client is a well-established private bank with a strong regional presence and a continued focus on strengthening its risk and control framework. As part of this investment, the bank is creating a newly established role to provide enhanced oversight and advisory across information security and operational risk.
This is a highly visible position in the CRO function to strengthen regulatory interpretation and risk advisory for the business, particularly in areas relating to information security and technology risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent risk oversight and advisory on information security and operational risk matters.
- Interpret regulatory expectations and translate them into clear, practical guidance for the business.
- Partner closely with business and control functions to strengthen risk awareness and control effectiveness.
- Support governance forums with clear risk insights, themes, and regulatory perspectives.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the bank’s risk and control environment.
Requirements
- Strong experience in information security risk, operational risk, or technology risk within banking or financial services.
- Solid understanding of regulatory expectations relating to information security and operational resilience.
- Proven ability to advise, challenge, and influence senior stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
- Strong judgement, communication skills, and a pragmatic approach to risk.
