Job Summary

Provide technical support and deliver network solutions across wired and wireless environments. Plan, analyze, and implement changes to network infrastructure while maintaining accurate documentation. Manage firewalls, load balancers, and switches. Ensure compliance with ITIL and ITSM processes and deliver proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and service continuity. Support proposals and lead small teams when required.

Responsibilities | CORE

• Gather infrastructure requirements and design, install, and implement network systems
• Perform analysis, planning, and coordination of network change requests
• Manage firewalls such as Checkpoint, Cisco FTD, and Palo Alto, and Nexus switches
• Administer F5 load balancers for application delivery
• Maintain records of configurations, changes, and disaster recovery documentation
• Align daily operations with ITSM/ITIL methodologies such as incident, change, and problem management
• Monitor performance and availability of network systems proactively
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and apply resolutions
• Implement service continuity measures such as backup and disaster recovery
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation
• Assist in proposal preparation and solution presentations
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of network engineers
  
  

Essential Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• One to three years of experience in network administration or support
• Hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls
• Knowledge of routing, switching, and firewall operations
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM methodologies

• Service-oriented with commitment to standards and quality

Professional and/or Technical Certifications

• Checkpoint firewall certification (preferred)
