About Us
We're an early-stage, well-funded startup building an AI-powered marketplace that connects disaster survivors with recovery capital. Our platform helps businesses and homeowners quickly discover and access funding from federal and state agencies, NGOs, nonprofits, and private equity organizations. Using agentic AI, large language models, and advanced data processing, we automate complex application processes—turning weeks of paperwork into minutes. We're working with partners like FEMA to create the financial infrastructure that makes disaster recovery funding faster, smarter, and more accessible.
About the Role
Build user-facing features and internal tools. You'll focus on frontend development (React, TypeScript, Mapbox) while maintaining full-stack capability to work across the stack when needed. You'll create intuitive interfaces that help disaster survivors navigate complex federal assistance programs. You'll design and build beautiful, responsive web applications that make it easy for survivors to find assistance, complete applications, and track their status. You'll work with interactive maps to visualize disaster impact, create data-rich dashboards for internal teams, and build AI-powered interfaces that guide users through complex processes. You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers to design APIs, work with product and design teams to create exceptional user experiences, and ensure our interfaces meet accessibility and compliance standards. When needed, you'll dive into backend code to implement features end-to-end, making you a versatile contributor across the entire stack. This role combines creative problem-solving with technical excellence to build products that truly help people in need.
