We're a fast-growing startup transforming the Security Awareness space. Our team is building innovative tools that help organizations stay secure by making people part of the solution. We're looking for a skilled Back-End Software Engineer with strong Go experience to help us move fast, solve real-world problems, and build market-driven solutions.
As part of a small, high-performing team, you’ll own features from design through deployment. You’ll collaborate closely with back-end and front-end developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to build performant, secure, and scalable back-end systems.
- Design, build, and maintain back-end systems using Go and related technologies.
- Architect scalable, secure, and reliable services in a distributed environment.
- Optimize database queries and application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure high engineering standards.
- Work closely with the product team to adapt quickly to changing requirements and market needs.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience. Experience with enterprise products is a significant advantage.
- Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang).
- Solid understanding of SQL and ability to write and optimize queries.
- Familiarity with service-oriented architecture, REST, and gRPC.
- Strong testing skills (unit, integration).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience deploying to cloud platforms (GCP preferred), using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Proven track record of delivering PoCs and MVPs in short cycles.
- Understanding of monolith-to-microservices transitions or hybrid architectures.
- Exposure to JavaScript/Node.js.
- Familiarity with front-end applications (React is a plus).
- Experience working in globally distributed teams.
