About The Role
We are seeking a confirmed Junior UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic Product & Design team in Nashville, TN. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented individual eager to craft thoughtful and elegant user experiences alongside stunning interfaces. As a Junior UX/UI Designer at EY, you will be instrumental in shaping how users interact with our digital products, from initial ideation through high-fidelity prototyping and design handoff. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and fellow Designers to create user-centered designs that are accessible, responsive, and aligned with our evolving design systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to own parts of the product experience, participate in user research, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably with digital products or SaaS solutions
- Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking and user-centered UI work
- Proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, and Prototyping
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps and Confluence
- Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Ability to work with wireframes and high-fidelity visuals
- Curiosity, humility, and a drive for rapid learning and iteration
- Excellent communication skills for explaining design decisions and receiving feedback
- Proficiency in both French and English languages
- Participate in user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights on user pain points and needs
- Translate research findings into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs
- Collaborate daily with Product Owners, Developers, and Design team members to ensure cohesive product development
- Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of design systems, ensuring visual consistency across products
- Iterate designs quickly based on user feedback and internal reviews to improve usability and aesthetics
- Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility, responsiveness, and usability best practices
- Support the handoff process to development teams with well-annotated files and detailed specifications
- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
