NextGen is seeking a results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize our operations, ensuring excellence across all business functions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in companies specializing in full-stack web development, software engineering, APIs, data engineering, and cloud services, with a strong understanding of emerging fields such as blockchain, AI/ML, computer vision, and game development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure the company meets its strategic objectives efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute comprehensive business strategies that align with NextGen’s growth goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery across full-stack development, software engineering, data solutions, and advanced tech initiatives.
• Streamline processes to improve productivity, optimize resource allocation, and drive operational excellence.
• Manage the development and implementation of company policies that promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance.
• Supervise and motivate a diverse team of department heads, fostering collaboration and a shared vision for success.
• Drive the scaling of business operations to support growth in high-tech domains like blockchain, AI/ML, and game development.
• Collaborate with the CFO to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning, ensuring alignment with operational priorities.
• Oversee partnerships with external stakeholders, including vendors and clients, to build strong, long-term relationships that benefit the company.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and NextGen’s strategic and operational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a senior operations leadership role, ideally within tech-focused organizations.
• In-depth knowledge of full-stack web development, software development, APIs, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with advanced technologies such as blockchain, AI/ML, computer vision, and game development.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a track record of driving operational improvements and scaling business operations.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team toward common goals.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering partnerships and liaising with key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in process optimization, project management, and change management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
