Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Administrator to manage our transportation operations. The role involves overseeing vehicle allocation, maintenance schedules, and record-keeping, ensuring smooth operations under a high-pressure environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills and thrive in fast-paced, demanding situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily transportation operations, including vehicle allocation to staff, departments, or projects.
- Monitor and coordinate routine and preventive vehicle maintenance to ensure fleet efficiency and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of all vehicles, including usage logs, fuel consumption, repairs, and inspections.
- Develop and implement processes for vehicle scheduling, allocation, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety regulations, and local transportation laws.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers for vehicle servicing and emergency repairs.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on fleet status, maintenance schedules, and operational efficiency.
- Support management in decision-making regarding fleet optimization and cost reduction.
- Work effectively in a pressurized environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in administration, transportation management, or fleet coordination.
- Strong organizational, planning, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance processes, fleet management systems, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to transportation.
