- General Operations
›Attend daily departmental briefings and any scheduled meetings.
›Always be up to date with any resort special events, functions and promotions and can provide the information to the guest when required.
›Should be well versed on emergency procedures relating to fire, theft, accident, medical emergency and other threats to resort and guest security.
›Maintains a high standard of hygiene and sanitation throughout all service areas.
›Hands must be washed with a disinfectant soap and dried before touching any fresh and clean linens especially after using the washroom or smoking.
›Receive a daily task sheet and be aware of the days' movements and tasks along with the timeline.
›Received all linens, amenities and supplies as required by tasks assigned for the day.
›Monitors daily arrivals according to occupancy report in coordination with the Housekeeping Supervisor.
›Clean the entire villa assigned and provide all amenities and supplies to all occupied villas and prepare for arrival villas on time as scheduled by the department.
›Cleaning should be done discreetly and when it is convenient for the guest.
›Ensure all occupied villas are service between 0800hr to 1500hrs for the morning and between 1800hrs to 2130hrs for the evening service.
›Ensure all vacant villas are cleaned and kept ready, to refresh when vacant for too long to be able to immediately sell it to the guest or for any possible villa moves.
›Guest villa gardens and surrounding shall be cleaned on every service hour in coordination with the garden team.
›Replenish minibar twice a day as consumed or requested by the guest.
›Handle guest laundry as per the standard specified.
›Removes furniture, curtains and other fixtures which require repairs, replacement, spotting, waxing, polishing or cleaning.
›Strip and pack the villa for preventive maintenances and deep cleaning.
›Ensure to complete any additional tasks or project assigned in the monthly cleaning calendar by Housekeeping Supervisor.
›Pantries and storage areas must always be well maintained, neat and clean.
›To report any malfunction machines or equipment, damage to room furnishings or missing items immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor.
›Ensures that proper care, handling and transporting of equipment, machines, linens are of top priority.
›Maintains required par stock of linen, equipment and general supplies for the efficiency and smooth operation of the department and to assist in taking monthly inventories.
›Return any lost and found items immediately after finding it to Housekeeping Office and complete all required formalities.
›Respond to guest request immediately and inform any problems or complaints Housekeeping Supervisor for the record.
›To assist any other areas of the department when needed and to be multi-skilled in all areas of the Housekeeping department.
›Reports any health and safety hazard to the Housekeeping Supervisor immediately.
›Performs other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Financial and Administration
› Complies with the Property's purchasing and stores requisitioning procedure in respect of internal and external supplies.
› Ensure to comply with the energy and cost-saving measures that are implemented in all areas under Housekeeping continuously.
› Ensures that no overtime is performed without prior approval of Supervisors or Executive Housekeeper.

› Participates in training related to the job.
› Assist with orientation, training and other special courses when required.
› Lead by example, inspires and motivates those around through enthusiasm.
› Inspires and guides others to make their decisions based on the organization's values and overall direction, keeping the Company's goals in mind.

› Apply and adhere to rules and regulations as per Ambassadors handbook, departmental and Property policies and procedures, including those for the emergencies.
› Develop and maintain an understanding of the overall organization's mission, vision, and values.
› Professionally handles any guest's complaint, as per Property's Policy & Procedures.
› Practices proper telephone etiquette with colleagues and Property's guests.
› Ensures all activities are carried out honestly, ethically and within the parameters of the Maldivian Law.
- Health and Safety
› To ensure that company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all work areas.
› To be fully aware of all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.
› Responsible to report any potentially hazardous situations within the workplace.
