L&D Project Manager – 12 Month Contract - Doha
Location: Qatar (On-site, client-facing)
Engagement: Contract Worker - 12 Months Outsourced
Languages: Fluent in both Arabic and English
A leading global consultancy is seeking an experienced L&D Project Manager to support high-priority client engagements in Qatar. This is a critical, client-facing role requiring a strong on-ground presence and end-to-end ownership of learning and development project delivery.
The successful candidate will manage complex L&D initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure programmes are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management of Learning & Development initiatives, from initiation through to closure
- Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, and reporting across multiple workstreams
- Apply a systems approach to training, covering design, development, delivery, and evaluation
- Act as the primary liaison between client stakeholders, internal teams, and external suppliers
- Coordinate delivery of organisational development and capability-building programmes
- Prepare and present clear, concise project updates and executive-level reporting
- Ensure strong governance, documentation, and quality assurance across all L&D projects
- Proactively manage issues, risks, and change requests in a fast-paced client environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in project management within Learning & Development or organisational development
- Strong understanding of training frameworks and learning lifecycle methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder management, including engagement with executive-level clients
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage vendors and learning partners
- High level of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a professional, confident, and approachable style
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to manage changing priorities and working hours
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Project
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation capabilities
Education & Certifications
- Postgraduate qualification in Business, Project Management, or a related discipline
- CAPM, PMP, or equivalent Project Management certification (mandatory)
Language Requirements
- Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory)
- Professional proficiency in English
