Roles & Responsibilities:
1 Provide L2 support for enterprise network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure
.2 Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity to ensure SLA compliance
.3 Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, performing root cause analysis for recurring issues
.4 Implement configuration changes under approved change management procedures
.5 Support L2 security operations including firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, DNS security, and endpoint protection
.6 Monitor security alerts and assist in incident response, escalation, and mitigation
.7 Ensure network security policies and configurations are applied correctly across devices
.8 Configure network devices, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and firewall policies
.9 Assist with VPN configuration, IP addressing, and network segmentation as required
.10 Validate and maintain backup configurations of network and security devices
.11 Respond to service requests, incidents, and escalations from L1 teams
.12 Maintain incident logs and resolution documentation
.13 Coordinate with L3/Senior teams and vendors for unresolved or critical issues
.14 Maintain accurate network diagrams, device inventories, and operational documentation
.15 Prepare reports on incidents, resolution status, and network performance
.16 Support audits and compliance reporting as required
.17 Coordinate with L3 engineers, NOC teams, and vendors for escalated issues
.18 Assist in deployment, migration, and upgrades of network and security infrastructure
.19 Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and L1 support teams
.20 Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and best practices
.21 Assist in applying patches, updates, and security hardening on devices
.22 Follow ITIL/organizational procedures for change, incident, and problem management

Skill

1 Hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc
.).2 Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAF, and endpoint securi
