Trainee Data Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Trainee Data Engineer will be responsible for assisting our senior data engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data solutions for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, programming, and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior data engineers in developing and maintaining data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes;
Design, develop, and test ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to transform raw data into usable formats for data analysis and reporting;
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues;
Monitor and optimize data storage and processing systems for performance and scalability;
Contribute to documenting data infrastructure and processes for knowledge-sharing and training purposes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
Strong foundation in computer science and programming concepts, with experience in Python;
Familiarity with SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle;
Knowledge of ETL processes and tools;
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
Strong communication and collaboration skills, Ukrainian language Advanced or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience (even theoretical) with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka;
Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and processing platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure;
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
