The ideal candidate will work closely with a team of talented engineers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. You will be responsible for building next-generation mobile applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with external data sources, APIs, and backend services
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Perform unit testing to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability
- Identify and fix bugs, and improve application performance
- Continuously evaluate, learn, and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best development practices
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in Android application development
- Strong proficiency in Android SDK
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and JSON-based data
- Hands-on experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
- Familiarity with mobile architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Ability to work collaboratively with remote and cross-functional teams
- Published at least one original Android application on the Google Play Store
- Experience with modern Android development tools and frameworks
- Knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices
