About the Role
We are looking for an experienced iOS Lead Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in SwiftUI, modern iOS architecture, and high‑quality app development. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can drive UI architecture, coach team members, and deliver production-grade mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end design and development of iOS applications using SwiftUI.
- Drive architectural decisions ensuring scalable, maintainable, and predictable UI behavior.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Design, Backend) to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Mentor and guide iOS developers; enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Build and optimize app performance, rendering efficiency, and state-driven UI flows.
- Handle local data persistence using SwiftData, ensuring correct modelling and data flow.
- Review code, conduct architecture audits, and lead technical discussions.
- Own release cycles, CI/CD processes, and overall code quality.
Required Skills & Expertise
1. SwiftUI Expertise
- Deep hands-on experience building production-grade SwiftUI apps.
- Strong understanding of state management, data flow, and SwiftUI view lifecycle.
2. Declarative UI Mastery
- Ability to design UI as a pure function of state—avoiding imperative patterns.
- Writes clean, reactive, predictable UI code aligned with SwiftUI best practices.
3. Responsive UI Design
- Experience creating adaptive layouts for multiple screen sizes, iPadOS, dark mode, and orientations.
- Strong command over SwiftUI’s layout system, stacks, grids, and custom layouts.
4. Data & State Management (SwiftData)
- Practical experience with SwiftData for local persistence.
- Solid understanding of data modelling, observation, and performance trade-offs.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Combine or async/await for reactive programming.
- Experience with UIKit interoperability when needed.
- Familiarity with modular architecture, design patterns, and clean code principles.
- Exposure to CI/CD (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, etc.).
