Founded in 2024, Qila Games is a hybrid-casual gaming studio focused on creating social, multiplayer-first experiences that are easy to pick up, fun to master, and hard to forget. Our first title, Ludo Hero, brings a bold, social twist to the classic game. Players can enjoy it with friends, make new connections, and engage in friendly competition. Currently, Ludo Hero is in beta, and we welcome feedback from players to enhance the gaming experience.

Role Description

This is a full-time Game Developer role located on-site in Bengaluru. The Game Developer will be responsible for programming and developing gameplay features, ensuring smooth gameplay mechanics, and collaborating with the game design team to bring new ideas to life. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and implementing new features and functionalities in the game.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Game Programming, Gameplay Programming, and Programming
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Skills in Game Design and the ability to work closely with designers to implement new features
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in game development and working knowledge of game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus
