Location: Brisbane (2 days WFH per week)

Contract: Until 30 June (extension likely)

BLACKROC is partnering with a large enterprise organisation to recruit an experienced AI Engineer for a high-impact contract role based in Brisbane.

This position is ideal for an engineer who can operationalise AI at scale, delivering secure, resilient, and production-ready agentic AI solutions embedded into enterprise workflows.

Role Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI agents using Azure AI Foundry or equivalent platforms
• Implement multi-agent orchestration and event-driven integration patterns
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems via Azure Integration Services
• Establish AI guardrails, observability, and governance controls
• Deliver CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code
• Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience in software, integration, or data engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry or equivalent AI platforms
• Solid Azure Integration Services experience
• Strong Python and/or TypeScript/C# skills
• Experience delivering RAG and enterprise AI solutions
