As a Junior Data Sciences Analyst, you’ll be embedded at the heart of our data ecosystem, contributing to the data platforms, models, and analytics that power ROLLiN’s operations. You’ll work across data engineering, machine learning, automation, and reporting, helping us move quickly and make smarter decisions. This is a permanent full‑time role with hybrid working options. This is a max-term full-time role covering mat leave, can be based either in Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane), with minimum two days in the office each week is required and start date targeted is late Feb or early March 2026.
What You'll Do
- Manage and action data requests across the ROLLiN’ business and broader IAG teams.
- Run BAU data tasks and maintain SQL in Snowflake, BigQuery and Python scripts that support day‑to‑day operations.
- Build dashboards, tell compelling data stories, and generate insights that guide decision‑making.
- Support automation activities, including email and workflow automation.
- Assist with data engineering tasks and provide coverage for the data engineering team when needed.
- Operate in line with IAG’s Code of Ethics, safety standards, and risk frameworks.
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and cloud‑based analytical tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, scikit‑learn).
- Understanding of statistical analysis and data storytelling.
- Internal and External stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to communicate complex quantitative insights clearly and effectively.
