The role
You will lead the market surveillance and risk management function across the business, playing a key role in protecting market integrity and ensuring regulatory alignment.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the market surveillance and risk management framework and function
• Designing and implementing controls to detect market manipulation, abusive behaviour, wash trading, and other suspicious activity
• Overseeing real time surveillance tools, alerts, and investigation workflows
• Ensuring alignment with MiCA risk, conduct, and market abuse requirements
• Developing and maintaining the enterprise risk management framework, covering operational, market, custodial, and counterparty risk
• Preparing internal and regulatory reporting on risk indicators, incidents, and mitigation actions
• Working closely with Compliance, Product, and Technology teams as business models and systems evolve
Requirements
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline
• 5 to 8 years of experience in market surveillance, risk management, or compliance within financial services, trading platforms, or digital asset environments
• Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks, including MiCA market abuse rules
• Hands on experience with surveillance tools and analytical platforms
• Strong leadership, judgement, and investigative capability
• Fluent English, German language skills are strongly preferred
