We are currently looking for a Freelance Full-Stack React JS Developer to join a long-term assignment within a federal public-sector organisation in Belgium. The mission focuses on the modernisation and rewrite of existing internal applications into a modern, scalable web solution.

Assignment Details

• Location: Brussels (hybrid)
• Duration: 01/04/2026 - 31/12/2026 (extension possible)

Your Mission

You will contribute to the rewriting of SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform applications (PowerApps / Power Automate) into a modern full-stack architecture. You will work closely with functional stakeholders and translate requirements into clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React JS
• Implement JavaScript-based business logic and integrations
• Collaborate on backend components (Node.js, databases)
• Translate functional and technical analyses into working solutions
• Contribute to application modernization and performance improvements

Your Profile

• Experience with React JS and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Node.js and databases
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform is a plus
• Ability to write functional and technical analyses
• Comfortable working in a structured public-sector environment

Languages

• Dutch or French: active knowledge (required)
• English: nice to have
