About the job
BWC is looking for an IT Developer (iOS - Developer) for its client in Brussels, Belgium. It's a full-time permanent contract with BWC. Freelance can also apply.
Description:
As an iOS Developer, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance and reliable iOS applications using Swift.
You will translate functional requirements into clean, reusable code and collaborate within an Agile, cross-functional squad to deliver new features.
In this role, you ensure application quality through testing, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of code and processes.
Requirements:
- Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
- Sound Language od English and at least one local language (French/Dutch)
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in iOS application development
- Proven expertise in Swift and strong experience with the iOS SDK and available libraries
- Solid understanding of Apple iOS design principles, interface guidelines, DDD, and best practices
- Strong knowledge and practical application of clean code principles and refactoring
- Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing
- Experience integrating iOS applications with RESTful APIs and external data sources
- Knowledge of CI/CD principles and tools such as Git/SVN, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Confluence, and JIRA
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a strong Agile mindset
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience collaborating in large, cross-functional development teams
- Familiarity with pair programming and active knowledge sharing within the team
