Role Overview
The Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity threats. The role focuses on protecting IT systems, data, and infrastructure through continuous monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and analyze alerts to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents, including data breaches and malware infections.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with security regulations and standards.
- Maintain documentation for security processes, incidents, and risk assessments.
- Stay up to date with emerging threats, trends, and best practices.
- Communicate security risks and incidents to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in security analysis and incident response.
- Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and security monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of network security, threat analysis, and risk management.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH are a strong plus.
- Hybrid work: 2–3 days onsite in the Antwerp region.
- Strong communication skills.
- Languages : English + Dutch (Professional)
