About the role:

As a BI Analyst, you play a key role in transforming data into meaningful insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with business and technical teams to design robust data models, build high-impact dashboards, and ensure data is accurate, secure, and efficiently processed across the organization.

Your responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data models to support business and strategic needs
• Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Work with large datasets, ensuring performance, scalability, and responsiveness
• Optimize data transformations using Power Query, DAX, and SQL best practices
• Use Databricks for data preparation, transformation, and modeling to support BI solutions
• Work with cloud data platforms such as Azure and/or AWS to support scalable BI architectures
• Implement and manage data security (RLS/OLS) to ensure the right access for the right users
• Apply analytical and statistical techniques to identify trends and opportunities
• Contribute to BI standards, governance, and best practices across the organization
• Support continuous improvement of data quality, consistency, and trustworthiness

What you bring:

• 4+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including dashboard design and performance optimization
• Advanced skills in SQL and DAX, with a focus on efficient calculations and queries
• Hands-on experience with Databricks
• Experience working with Azure and/or AWS environments
• Proven experience in tabular models and high-performance analytics
• Solid knowledge of data modeling (star schema, dimensional modeling)
• Experience with role-based security (RLS/OLS)
• Strong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving approach
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into clear insights
• Languages: English & French and/or Dutch
