Information Security Specialist - Helsinki

What you will take ownership of:

💻 Keep core IT services reliable, secure, and well documented so teams can deliver high impact solutions every day

🛠️ Act as the expert support escalation point, solving complex issues, creating self service content, and improving runbooks for a smoother user experience

🔍 Proactively manage and optimise platforms including endpoints, identity, collaboration tools, and monitoring systems to prevent issues before they appear

📱 Lead the operation and optimisation of Intune and Jamf ensuring devices stay compliant and correctly configured

🔐 Enforce strong security baselines such as encryption and endpoint protection

🐧 Maintain Linux servers and core services including backups, patching, and hardening to ensure resilience

👀 Build effective monitoring and refine SIEM rules to enable early detection and rapid response to incidents

📚 Keep documentation clear and current while supporting knowledge sharing across teams

🤝 Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure IT solutions support business needs and promote shared responsibility

Requirements:

🧩 At least five years of experience in similar IT roles

🐧 Strong capabilities with Linux servers and endpoint management

🍏 Confidence managing macOS devices through Intune and Jamf

☁️ Solid understanding of Azure fundamentals and secure Microsoft 365 collaboration

🔑 Knowledge of Entra ID including Conditional Access, Identity Governance, and hybrid identity

🛡️ Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM platforms

🗂️ Ability to produce clear procedures, diagrams, and documentation

⚡ A proactive mindset with strong ownership and a focus on continuous improvement

🌱 A collaborative approach with a willingness to mentor and support others

Nice to have:

☁️ AWS experience

📘 Atlassian tools including Confluence and Jira

🌐 Networking fundamentals

🔏 Exposure to ISO 27001 or similar security frameworks
