Salt is currently hiring a AI/ML Engineer for a client of ours in Germany.

The role is freelance contract, paying around 700 euros per day.

The assignment focuses on advancing internal capabilities in 3D Generative AI through research and prototyping. Due to the specialized nature of modern 3D GenAI and the rapidly evolving research landscape, the work is carried out by an external contractor with strong expertise in Machine Learning and Computer Graphics.

The contractor operates independently, follows their own working methods, and does not participate in internal operational or strategic meetings. The engagement is time-limited and research-driven.

Scope of Services:

Research, evaluate, and select state-of-the-art 3D Generative AI models and architectures

Prototype and experiment with modern 3D GenAI models using provided datasets

Fine-tune, optimize, and validate models based on defined use cases and metrics (e.g., geometry, texture, part separation)

Design and implement components within an internal 3D Generative AI toolchain

Translate research concepts into functional, reproducible prototypes

Deliver and hand over all developed work at the end of the assignment
