About Your New Job as a Cloud Engineer
- Create and implement new software solutions as part of our cloud enablement strategy, while maintaining and enhancing existing software.
- Ensure code adheres to strict standards for accessibility, security, object-oriented practices, and performance. Write and conduct unit and integration tests.
- Effectively function and communicate within a software development team consisting of developers, quality assurance, and project management members.
What Skills You Need in this job as a Cloud Engineer
- Senior-level experience in Cloud Engineering, working with Azure/AWS.
- Experience with writing infrastructure as code using Terraform, including Terraform Enterprise, Private Module Registry, and Terraform Sentinel.
- Familiar with cloud security, including Azure Policy, Azure Defender for Cloud, and Azure Sentinel.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins.
- Experience with general programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Familiar with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, and Salt.
- Linux/UNIX system administration experience.
- Cloud Provider Certifications are a plus.
