What will you do?

As a Bitcoin Engineering Intern, you will join Boosty Labs engineering team and gain hands-on exposure to Bitcoin protocol concepts, tooling, and real-world infrastructure. You will support senior engineers in developing, testing, and documenting Bitcoin-related systems, while building a solid foundation in protocol-level engineering.

This internship is designed for mission-driven individuals who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow within the Bitcoin ecosystem, working on meaningful technical challenges from day one.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the development and testing of Bitcoin-related software and infrastructure.
• Assist with research and analysis of Bitcoin protocol features and improvement proposals.
• Contribute to internal tools, scripts, and proof-of-concept implementations.
• Help document technical processes, code, and architectural decisions.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with the engineering team.
• Learn and apply best practices in secure and reliable software development.
• Collaborate with team members on experimental or early-stage Bitcoin projects.
  
  

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for this particular role has:

• A technical background in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of the Bitcoin protocol and its core principles.
• Strong interest in blockchain and decentralized systems.

Please note:

This will be primarily an English Speaking role, so proficiency at a B2-C1 level is crucial for candidates consideration.

Work Arrangements:

This will be an Hybrid position, with Office Days in the Blox Space Innovation Hub in Turin
