Job Opportunity: Team Lead – Cyber Security Services

An established IT services provider in Stockholm, specializing in operational support, IT security, and network services, is seeking a Team Lead for their growing Cyber Security department. This organization works with clients primarily in the banking, finance, law, and investment sectors, all of which demand high levels of availability, support, and security. Due to increased client demand and service expansion, the company is looking to strengthen its team with senior expertise in Cyber Security Services.

About the Role:

The Team Lead will be responsible for building and managing a new security team that delivers customized cyber security services to a diverse client base. This role requires a combination of leadership skills and deep technical expertise, particularly in the area of Microsoft’s security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Recruit and lead a small team (2-3 members) in the area of cyber security, providing coaching and support as they grow into their roles.
• SOC Service Management: Oversee and develop the organization’s 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) service based on Microsoft Sentinel. You will be the service owner, responsible for the service’s performance and continuous development.
• Proactive Security Scanning: Lead the delivery of proactive vulnerability scans and health checks to help clients minimize their security risks.
• Incident Response: Provide second-line support for security incidents, quickly responding to and managing incidents both internally and at client sites.
• Security Consulting & Training: Offer strategic security guidance to clients and lead security awareness training sessions.

Candidate Profile:

• Leadership Experience: Prior experience in managing teams, ideally within proactive security services.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cyber security, especially with Microsoft’s security solutions such as Microsoft Sentinel.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage security incidents effectively.
• Process Development: Experience in streamlining and developing security processes and workflows.
• Growth Mindset: A humble approach to leadership with a strong desire to continuously learn and grow in the role.
