In the Capital Exposure Management team, we calculate and report some of the bank’s key capital requirements, most notably the Risk Exposure Amount (REA) and the Large Exposures requirement, where we track and report on the bank’s largest customers. By working with our team, you will gain in-depth knowledge of regulatory capital functions and enhance your analytical skills. Once you learn the essentials, you will possess a highly valuable skill set, as capital is one of the most critical drivers of a bank’s profitability.
You will join a skilled and diverse team of 13 employees who deliver high-quality strategic analyses of the link between Danske Bank’s capital structure development and financial performance. This enables Danske Bank to accomplish its strategic goals and prepare for the future. The team includes 3 colleagues based in Lithuania, one in Sweden and the rest in Denmark.
This role offers flexibility with a hybrid working model, where you can work up to 2 days per week from home.

You will:
- Run a monthly analytical process and perform various kinds of ad hoc analyses
- Collaborate with a diverse team to manage the monthly capital reporting process, gaining knowledge about capital regulations (CRR), IRB models, and risk-weighted assets
- Adapt processes to comply with new regulations
- Monitor our capital and risk exposures, providing insights to business units and senior management
- Work on automating the process using tools such as SQL and Python
- Building stakeholder friendly solutions such as Tableau overviews
- Offer smart solutions and strategic guidance
- Previous experience working with data analysis and database languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau)
- A higher education degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Programming, Science, or a related field
- Affinity for debugging code and data handling
- A proactive attitude, a sense of ownership, and assurance in decision-making
- An analytical and independent mindset with willingness to learn and take on responsibilities
- Great communication and collaboration skills with team members and stakeholders
- Upper-Intermediate English skills
Monthly salary range from 2880 EUR to 4320 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be Analyst – Business. From 1 April 2026 it will be renamed to Treasury under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.
