We are currently seeking a QA Engineer to join our growing team and support the quality, reliability, and stability of our web and mobile platform. In this role, you will be responsible for validating features, identifying defects, writing tests, and ensuring that our product meets high standards of quality, performance, and user trust.

You will work closely with the Product Manager, developers, and designers to define acceptance criteria, validate implementations, and ensure that features are delivered in line with both business and technical expectations.


Responsibilities


  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases for web and mobile applications
  • Perform manual, exploratory, and regression testing across core user flows (profiles, feeds, reputation, certifications, reporting, etc.)
  • Validate new features before release and ensure proper coverage of edge cases
  • Identify, report, and track defects using Linear, ensuring clear reproduction steps and impact description
  • Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation
  • Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and testing standards
  • Support testing of security-related features such as authentication, permissions, and identity verification
  • Ensure consistent quality across different browsers, devices, and environments


Requirements


  • English fluent or bilingual
  • 1+ years of experience in QA, software testing, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle
  • Experience testing web applications and user-facing features
  • Ability to think in user flows, edge cases, and failure scenarios
  • Strong attention to detail and structured approach to problem solving
  • Comfortable working in an agile, collaborative team environment
  • Ability to communicate clearly with developers, product managers, and designers


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, or Cypress
  • Experience testing SaaS platforms or community-based products
  • Basic understanding of APIs and backend concepts
  • Familiarity with authentication, roles, permissions, and access control testing
  • Interest in cybersecurity, privacy, or trust-based platforms
  • Experience working with Linear, Jira, or similar issue tracking tools
