Backend Developer

Mission: We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Backend developer who will work closely with the team to troubleshoot and improve current applications and backend processes. You will leverage your expertise in programming and emerging technologies to optimize performance, improve system architecture, and deliver seamless user experiences.

Key activities/responsibilities to perform:

• Contribute to and validate the technological roadmap (B2C and B2B platforms).
• Design and implement backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with IT to recommend technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Maintain documentation for new features and system improvements.
• Integrate external services and APIs.
• Analyze user needs and translate them into technical requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Development or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in PHP development.
• Advanced proficiency in Laravel framework and ecosystem.
• Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL).
• Proficient in Unit Testing, Git, Agile (Scrum), Docker.
• Solid grasp of Clean/Hexagonal Architecture and microservices.

Nice to have:

• Experience or strong interest in AI structures (LLMs, ML models, recommendation systems, etc.) applied to backend services.

Location & Conditions

• Schedule: Full Time (7.5h/day)
• Location: 100% Remote, with the option to work from our office in Barcelona (next to Torre Agbar)
• Eligibility: Must reside in Spain and have the legal right to work
