Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services using Python, FastAPI, SQL databases, and AWS.
• This is a hands-on technical role suited to a developer who is comfortable owning backend architecture, building APIs, and working with cloud infrastructure.
• You will work closely with product and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support business-critical operations.

Skills / Experience Required:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and security
• Design, manage, and optimise SQL databases (schema design, queries, performance tuning)
• Deploy, manage, and scale applications on the AWS platform
• Implement authentication, authorisation, and data protection best practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise backend systems
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Support CI/CD pipelines and environment management
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and uptime
