Innovation Engineer

As our business continues to expand across the UAE and internationally, we are strengthening our Engineering & Innovation capabilities. We are now seeking an Innovation Engineer to join our team and help drive the next wave of technical advancement across our data center portfolio.

Reporting into the Engineering function, the Innovation Engineer will be responsible for identifying, developing, testing, and implementing innovative engineering solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, sustainability, cost performance, and lifecycle value across projects and operations.

The role combines:

• Identification of engineering innovation opportunities across design, construction, commissioning, and operations

• Development and validation of pilots, proofs of concept, and technical trials

• Engineering analysis, value assessment, and feasibility evaluation

• Support for scaling, standardisation, and lifecycle integration of successful innovations

The Innovation Engineer will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate emerging technologies and improvement ideas into practical, scalable solutions that strengthen Khazna’s technical leadership and operational excellence.

Minimum eligibility requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5–8 years of experience in engineering, technical optimisation, or innovation‑focused roles

• Experience in data centers (preferred), critical infrastructure, industrial, or large‑scale engineering environments

• Exposure to pilot projects, technology evaluations, or continuous improvement initiatives

• Strong engineering fundamentals with analytical and problem‑solving capability

• Ability to assess emerging technologies, feasibility, and operational fit

• Experience developing pilots, proofs of concept, and performance assessments

• Strong documentation, presentation, and technical communication skills

• Working knowledge of sustainability, energy efficiency, or digital engineering tools is an advantage
