Senior Specialist - GIS

Join RTA and play a key role in shaping the future of geospatial intelligence. We are looking for a GIS professional to design, plan, and deliver GIS projects aligned with RTA’s GIS roadmap and strategic initiatives. This role oversees GIS platforms, databases, portals, web services, and users while ensuring compliance with information security standards and approved procedures.

Responsibilities

You will lead technical GIS activities, manage geospatial datasets, coordinate with internal agencies, and deliver innovative, data-driven GIS solutions that support decision-making and operational modernization. The role also focuses on strategic planning, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement through the adoption of emerging GIS technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s /Master degree in Geomatics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• Must have at least 6+ years of experience
• Must have expertise in GIS platforms and web services, spatial data management, geodatabases, spatial analysis, system integration, AI/ML in GIS, and technical reporting.
