Insight Global is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support a major insurance client on an 11‑month contract (with a high possibility of extension). This role will lead a cross‑functional Agile team consisting of developers, BSAs, QAs, product owners, and business SMEs. The team is responsible for ongoing upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and monthly releases for the Guidewire Policy Center platform. This role is a hybrid model, requiring the sucessful candidate to be in-office two days a week.


In this position, you’ll facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, guide the team through 4‑week sprint cycles, and support planning workshops that produce clear priorities and actionable outcomes. You will also help estimate epics and stories, demo product updates to business partners, and collaborate across teams to drive timely issue resolution. We’re looking for a proactive, confident leader who can quickly integrate into the team, foster collaboration, and ensure consistent delivery across the SDLC.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Manage 4‑week sprint cycles and ensure transparency of progress and outcomes
  • Facilitate planning sessions and workshops with clear deliverables and alignment across stakeholders
  • Support monthly releases and enhancements to the Guidewire Policy Center platform
  • Partner with product owners, developers, QAs, BSAs, and business SMEs to remove impediments and maintain efficient workflows
  • Demo functionality to business stakeholders and gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • Estimate epics, user stories, and work efforts to support planning and forecasting
  • Ensure alignment to Agile best practices, operational processes, and governance standards


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Lead
  • Experience managing upgrades and enhancements for off‑the‑shelf applications
  • Hands‑on expertise with Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles, methodologies, and KPIs
  • Familiarity with operational and governance frameworks
  • Scrum Master Certification (CSM) required
