Role: Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including Extreme switches, F5 load balancers, wireless LAN controllers and access points, and Palo Alto/Check Point firewalls.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues to ensure high performance, reliability, and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with enterprise applications and systems.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging network technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve the network environment.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior network engineers.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting within enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise with Extreme switches, F5 load balancers, wireless LAN controllers, and access points.
• Strong understanding of network security principles, with hands-on experience managing Palo Alto and/or Check Point firewalls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Familiarity with cloud networking platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of modern network virtualization technologies, including SD-WAN and SDN.
• Experience with network monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting tools.
