About Position:
Accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of business initiatives, the Business PM provides disciplined governance across scope, schedule, cost, risks and benefits. The role leads business stakeholder engagement, produces executive leadership reporting, manages financials and commercial instruments (SOWs/change controls), and steers business cases from approval through benefits realization. The Business PM also coordinates IT delivery executed by internal technology teams and external vendors and manages Business Analysts (BA) and Business Architects (BAr) to ensure outcomes are traceable, compliant and value‑focused.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder & Governance
- Establish and chair working groups and steering committees; maintain an agreed governance calendar, decision logs and RAID.
- Drive alignment across Business, Finance, Legal/Procurement, Operations, and Technology.
Executive Leadership Reporting
- Produce concise, executive‑ready status packs covering milestones, risks/issues, decisions, financials and benefits.
- Escalate material variances with mitigation options; secure approvals per PMO and corporate policies.
Financial Management
- Own baseline and reforecasting; track actuals vs. budget; manage funding tranches and accruals.
- Maintain margin/TCV/ACV and unit‑rate integrity, surface commercial implications early.
Commercials: SOWs & Change Control
- Draft, negotiate and administer Statements of Work (scope, deliverables, acceptance criteria, SLAs).
- Run formal change control for scope/time/cost; ensure vendor deliverables and acceptance align to standards.
Business Cases & Benefits
- Lead development of business cases (problem/opportunities, options, costs/benefits, KPIs).
- Define benefit realization plans and track outcomes post‑implementation.
IT Delivery Coordination (Multi‑Team/Vendor)
- Orchestrate delivery plans across internal IT squads and external suppliers; integrate dependencies and handoffs.
- Oversee non‑functional and functional readiness (design reviews, SIT/UAT entry/exit), cut‑over planning and hypercare.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, risk and architecture approvals.
Team Leadership: Business BA & Business Architect
- Assign and direct Business BAs on requirements, process mapping, and acceptance criteria; ensure traceability to business outcomes.
- Guide Business Architects on target‑state design, standards compliance and solution options; resolve design decisions via Design Authority.
Required Experience & Competencies
- 7–10+ years’ project/program management in large enterprises (telecommunications or regulated industries preferred).
- Proven leadership of cross‑functional business initiatives with multi‑vendor IT delivery coordination.
- Advanced financial governance (budgeting, forecasting, cost control) and SOW/change‑control management.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence; concise reporting and decision facilitation.
- Practical oversight of Business Analysis and Business Architecture disciplines; familiarity with PMO tools (e.g., MS Project/Jira), and reporting tooling (Excel/Power BI).
