Role: Sr .Net Developer

Job Responsibilities

• Core Development: Design, build, and maintain highly scalable backend services using .NET Core (C#) to support large-scale pool wagering systems.
• High-Volume Processing: Engineer systems capable of handling extreme transaction spikes during major sporting events (e.g., horse racing festivals) with zero downtime.
• Algorithm Implementation: Implement and maintain complex mathematical models for pool (tote) calculations and dividend distribution.
• Database Optimization: Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance in high-throughput environments.
• System Resilience: Diagnose and resolve production issues within a distributed architecture, with a strong focus on fault tolerance, recovery, and system stability.
• Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners and QA teams to translate betting rules and business logic into robust, maintainable technical solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• Primary Language: Expert-level proficiency in C# with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
• Databases: Strong experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance tuning.
• Architecture: Proven experience building microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Concurrency: Deep understanding of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, and race condition management in high-load systems.
• Tooling: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

Preferred Experience

• Background in Sports Betting, High-Frequency Trading (HFT), or Fintech is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with pool or parimutuel betting mechanics is a strong advantage.
