Apple’s software team is seeking a highly technical and multi-functional senior software engineer to support our cellular software chipset products!

Description

The Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems team is seeking a highly motivated Cellular modem SW engineer to support and lead our baseline software used in the development of our next-generation cellular products. This role involves collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams to review software test results and effectively address technical issues, thereby ensuring that end-to-end quality metrics are consistently met for downstream usage.

Responsibilities

• Review the health the baseline and enact corrective measures to resolve any issues seen with KPIs, Regressions, or OTA Failures.
• Work with the development teams to help drive complex cross functional feature integration into the baseline.
• Hands on debugging, including reviewing logs for key issues impacting the mainline health.
• Drive the key issues that matter to ensure the baseline is healthy for downstream usage the various teams.
• Work with the development team, test team, and integration team to develop new quality gates.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in C/C++ programming in wireless communications silicon.
• Experienced in OTA Call Flow Analysis and log analysis for Cellular 4G and 5G Radio Access Technologies
• Knowledge of Test Equipment / Network Simulators (4G/5G)
