Intellias is looking for a skilled Tech Operations Engineer with good hardware equipment maintenance skills to be responsible for maintaining and supporting the testing of a set of devices related to automotive navigation systems. Also, flashing, coding, calibrating, and troubleshooting activities will be in the scope of activities.
The TechOps team will work with production or prototype test benches and even cars. The tech operations engineer should be ready for short business trips across Europe from time to time. Such a project will give us the ability to touch the future of automotive and be part of it today.
Requirements:
- Motivation to learn & absorb knowledge quickly.
- IT skills (network, TCP/IP, static/dynamic IP, overall administration skills, network troubleshooting).
- C1 Level of English.
- Hands-on with CAN, LIN - protocols.
- Ability to work independently and/or within the team.
- Experience in hardware installation and maintenance procedures.
- Hardware skills (soldering skills).
- Open-minded person.
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
- Work permit for Germany, or EU citizenship.
Nice to have:
- Automotive experience, especially with EU car manufacturers.
- Experience with next SW tools - ODIS, iDEX, CP tool.
- ADB experience.
- Linux/Unix systems and practical experience.
- Experience with Python, Shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with HW maintenance(rigs, cars SW update).
- Knowledge of German language (B2 or above)
- CCNA certification.
- High Voltage system certification.
Responsibilities:
- Contribution to daily test reports.
- Creating weekly/monthly reports.
- Communicating & building relationships with project stakeholders.
- Installation and maintenance of hardware equipment in the laboratory or inside the cars.
- Performing firmware updates and application installation procedures.
- Performing coding, and calibration activities using CP-Tool after successful firmware update.
- Implementing component protection VKMS via Fazit-ODIS.
- Running manual Smoke and Sanity tests for installed applications.
- Recording traces for defect analysis.
- Figuring out and solving issues (troubleshooting) related to HW and SW and solving the problems on-site.
- Deliver broken hardware to the factory location and change it with new/refurbished hardware.
- Create project documentation and maintain existing ones.
- Reporting work results in Jira ticket.
- Attending daily/weekly briefings & ceremonies.
- Daily presence in the office or customer premises.
