Software Engineer II
Our Software Engineer II will be responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, documenting, refactoring, maintenance, and support of applications and systems within their team's domain. They are expected to contribute heavily to the delivery efforts of the team. Software Engineers are still developing their technical capabilities in some areas but may already have an area of technical or domain specialisation. Regardless of specialisation, Software Engineers are expected to contribute across the technology stack.
A Software Engineer II will operate independently but proactively seek support and feedback in their search for more refined solutions and personal growth. They are capable of, and willing to, support new or junior team members helping them learn a technology, domain, or team process.

Software Engineer II
Our Software Engineer II will be responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, documenting, refactoring, maintenance, and support of applications and systems within their team's domain. They are expected to contribute heavily to the delivery efforts of the team. Software Engineers are still developing their technical capabilities in some areas but may already have an area of technical or domain specialisation. Regardless of specialisation, Software Engineers are expected to contribute across the technology stack.

Position Requirements
Technical:
- 3-10 years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core), and front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web frameworks such as React, Angular, Svelte.
- Experience with SQL databases; knowledge of other persistence technologies a bonus.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs; exposure to microservice architecture beneficial.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and Containers.
- Understanding of SDLC processes, SOLID principles, OOP and design patterns.
- Experience in DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, Terraform.
- Familiarity with Observability practices and tools such as DataDog, Splunk, NewRelic, etc.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum.
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Good communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong analytical skills, fast learner and drive to action.
- Ability to write clear and detailed technical documentation.
- Enthusiastic about knowledge sharing and mentoring others.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
