QA specialist at SYNTX

The current focus is on developing the web version and strengthening the entire technical side of the business. We are looking for a QA specialist to join our team, help maintain high quality standards, grow with the company, and participate in the development of testing processes.

What you will need to do:

• Conduct functional testing of web applications (Frontend and Backend).
• Test REST API using Postman.
• Check the operation of interfaces and business logic through DevTools.
• Work with databases: execute SQL queries to verify data.
• Write and maintain automated tests on Cypress.
• Work closely with the development team to find and fix defects.

Who we are looking for:

• 1–2 years of experience in testing web applications.
• Strong understanding of functional testing and client–server interaction.
• Experience with Postman and REST API.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS, DevTools, and Git.
• Ability to work with SQL databases.
• Interest in automation and desire to develop in this area.
• Based in Riga.
• Would be a plus: experience or minimal practice in writing automated tests on Cypress.
